One part of my job I particularly enjoy is working with new puppy and kitten owners and spending the time to guide them through the many steps required to make the new relationship a successful one. I also enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and developing treatment plans for medical conditions as well as performing surgery. Over the last few years I have taken an in depth course in veterinary dentistry and expanded the services I can offer for quality dental care and enjoy the challenges of dental surgery and extractions. My continuing education is an important aspect of my commitment to my patients so that I am able to offer the best and newest treatments or surgical options to my clients on my patient’s behalf.

An area of particular personal interest is pain management. I very strongly feel that no patient should ever feel pain if it is in my power to prevent it, or at the very least it should be minimized. As a long term member of the Veterinary Information Network I have access to a large data base and specialists from many fields that enable me to keep abreast of new developments in acute and chronic pain management that could benefit my patients.

My husband and I have lived in Warrenton since 1996 and have 1 dog and 5 cats.
